Caregivers being involved in specific ways can make recovery from an eating disorder more likely, according to research. One innovative model, Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), was developed specifically to train families in supporting their loved one through recovery of an eating disorder. The Workshop will help give caregivers a deeper understanding of emotion basics, meal support, and the foundation of EFFT. It will include live and video demonstrations, as well as skills practice.

The workshop will be held downtown, at Suite #301 - 601 West Broadway, on October 25th and 26th.

To register, please email admin@threestoryclinic.co or phone Three Story Clinic at 604-563-3093. Registration closes October 16, 2014 at 3:00 PM.

The fee is $300 per person, or $500 per couple, to be paid in cash or cheque on the first day. This fee includes all printed workshop materials.

Some subsidies are available. Please mention this to Natasha when asking about registration.

100_0816

Every year we leave camp saying, "That was the best year ever!" And Summer Camp 2014 was no exception. It was a magical week full of courageous growth, fun activities, new friendships and memories to last a lifetime for campers, staff and volunteers alike.

“This is the most amazing camp and most amazing people (staff) ever. They are so committed, so dedicated, so professional, so personal and helpful. I have been to many leadership camps, but this one is different. These people give everything. They are phenomenal. You helped me feel normal again. Thank you.”
