Honouring the Journey

The Reflections Scholarship supports students who have lived experience with an eating disorder by helping them pursue their academic and career goals through education. It is awarded in recognition of someone's strength and courage in facing their eating disorder as well as their enthusiasm and tenacity for their chosen academic path and the career they plan to follow.

The Looking Glass Foundation awards $10,000 annually and funding is split among recipients. Additionally, one scholarship recipient will receive the Elise Skoglund Bursary of $1,500.

Taking the time to write an essay and reflect on your past, passions, and future goals can be a very rewarding experience in itself. You may just inspire someone else to do the same and I think talking about eating disorders and recovery is one of the best things we can do to reduce the stigma and encourage others to seek help.
