Following the powerful response to our feature in The Vancouver Sun, CBC Radio reached out to help continue the conversation — and we were proud to have both Kristyne Agabob and Executive Director Lisa Brooks join On The Coast for an honest and impactful interview.
Together, they explored the realities of living with an eating disorder, the importance of early support, and how to be there for a loved one who may be struggling. Kristyne shared her personal experience, while Lisa offered insights from our work at Looking Glass — highlighting that eating disorders don’t have a single face, and that healing begins with empathy, understanding, and connection.
We’re grateful to CBC for making space for this critical dialogue, and to all who help shine a light on eating disorders and recovery.
