It is with a heavy heart, but one overflowing with appreciation, that we announce Susan Climie, our steady and compassionate leader, will be retiring later this summer. The impact Susan has had on Looking Glass Foundation, and all those associated with it, is immeasurable. 

“Susan has been a beacon of light and leadership for Looking Glass over the past years. We have so much to thank her for, but we particularly appreciate the fact that she and her team have built a solid, scalable and sustainable foundation for Looking Glass. Despite having to navigate the tremendous pressures arising from the global pandemic, she has formed the backdrop for our most recent period of organizational growth and enhancement.” - Denise Karkkainnen, Board Chair 

Susan’s legacy will be deeply embedded in the very fabric of Looking Glass Foundation, and she will be greatly missed. 

“It has been a privilege to serve as your Executive Director the past several years. The depth of passion and support within the Looking Glass community is unparalleled. As my husband and I prepare for a new chapter of life, I wish to express my deep gratitude to each of you for walking this journey alongside me. I am so delighted with how Looking Glass has evolved, and excited to see a new, visionary leader join this organization. I will support our staff team and board throughout the transition process over the coming months and will be cheering from the sidelines for years to come.”  - Susan Climie, Executive Director 

With Susan’s upcoming departure a door opens for a new innovative, community-driven leader who is dedicated to non-profit leadership, mental health, and organizational development.
